We are really excited to be hosting our very first episode. For those unfamiliar (which should be just about everyone at this point), FilmBundle.TV is our new long-format weekly interview series in which we talk to people in the biz, filmmakers, agents, festival programmers, and anyone else we find fantastically interesting. We want to make sure that you’re getting something you can work with, so we won’t be asking your standard fluffy press-junket questions, but instead, we’ll dive deep into the specifics that rarely get asked.

Our first episode features two amazingly talented documentarians, Adrian and Roko Belic. These guys brought you GENGHIS BLUES, BEYOND THE CALL, HAPPY, etc.. They also happen to be Sundance Winners and Academy Award Nominees. Their filmmaking is top notch, but the brothers are also some of the best grassroots marketers around, and have built amazing communities around their films.

Here are just a few of the accomplishments we’ll be talking about during FilmBundle.TV (keep in mind, that they did all of this with a very small budget):

  • Roko and Adrian created World Happy Day and screened HAPPY in 600 locations in 60 countries on all 7 continents (including Antarctica) all on a single day.
  • HAPPY was the first film ever to be featured as a Starbucks’ “Download of the Week”, and was promoted in Starbucks locations all over the world.
  • Their Kickstarter campaign was successfully funded to give them the extra boost to finish their film.
  • They’ve had interviews featured everywhere from Forbes to the Huffington Post.

Because we think this is going to be such an amazing learning opportunity, we’ve decided to invite you to its taping. If you’re in LA, join us on July 11th for a screening of their film HAPPY at 7pm and FilmBundle.TV taping with Q&A at 8:30pm.

The event will be held at:

Acme Theatre
135 N La Brea Ave
Los Angeles, CA 90036

Order your ticket below or get more info here. In FilmBundle tradition, they are pay-what-you-want. See you there!
